Being a small studio keeps us responsive, nimble and focused on design. Our structure allows us to scale up for larger projects and stay lean for others. Projects big or small,
we love what we do and it shows up in our studio (life) every day.

Brian Bjerketvedt

Principal + Designer

As design lead on all Form and Logic projects, Brian brings with him over 12 years of industry experience. His past positions as an art director working for a creative lifestyle agency and a business-to-business marketing firm have helped shape his balanced thinking.

Since starting F+L, Brian has collaborated with partners and clients on such brands as Under Armour, PepsiCo, ING, US Bio Energy and Kawasaki. A true Midwesterner with an insatiable work ethic and a collaborative style, Brian brings a mutlidisciplinary skill set to the studio's projects. Recent projects showing his range include an internal web portal for a global Fortune 500 company, a nationally launched packaging project and a dimensional point-of-sale solution for a jewelry designer.

Paula Bjerketvedt

Project Manager + Retail / Environment Designer

As a child, Paula designed and redesigned miniature doll rooms – using old wallpaper, left over carpet and found objects to create stories for each room.

Years later Paula can still be found playing with spaces and dimensional pieces as a creative collaborator on the studio's retail/environment projects. Paula also serves as project manager on select projects while keeping tabs on the studio's financials.

Paula’s background includes a clothing design degree from the University of Minnesota and over 10 years
in retail visual design and management, 5 years of
which she was a senior visual manager for
retailer Anthropologie.
